Knitting Books

Knitting books provide useful information for people just getting started in knitting. They offer easy to follow instructions and plenty of diagrams, not to mention the numerous patterns found within the pages. Those who know how to knit can appreciate knitting books because they add to a library of patterns.

Some knitting books offer patterns designed solely for beginners. There are a number of books dedicated to knitting for babies, children and teens. Some books provide patterns for projects that can be completed in one skein of yarn.

Knitting books can also offer advice on substitutions that can be made with yarn type. A growing number of knitters opt to not use wool due to skin sensitivities; others are looking for animal friendly fibers to use. Knitting books almost always will have helpful pointers that even experienced knitters can appreciate.
