Knitting Accessories

Every now and then a knitter will stumble upon some knitting accessories that make things much easier. Items like knitting markers, stitch savers, and needle caps are very useful. Organizational tools also can keep the hobby from taking over the entire house.

Knitting markers mark key points in the patterns of the current project. Stitch savers are larger caps that go on the ends of the needles and hold the project in place when it’s not being worked on. Knitting needle caps go on the ends of needles as well to protect them from poking through bags.

Knitting accessories for organizing are very helpful and almost are a necessity. A knitting bag holds the current project, the yarn, the needles, the pattern, and a notebook. Yarn organizers at home can keep skeins of yarn contained and tangle free.  Other fun accessories include yarn cutters- these are not scissors- they often look like necklace pendants and are great for air travel where scissors are prohibited.
