Beautiful Animal Dolls by Miriam Gourley-- My kids like
this book. We have used the bunny patterns to make toys together,
and the patterns went together just fine. Some of the patterns use
acrylic paint to give the animal a more lively look. Not all of the
animals shown are soft and fuzzy (because of the paint), but on the
other hand, the painted shapes look more simple to sew than the fuzzy
ones. The inspirational photos of artist dolls and toys in the back
of the book are amazing! |
